Re: Commodities trend charts
The clarity of the updated trend charts is fantastic. Simplicity at its best. What about having a traffic signal stock market index breadth trend of DOW, S&P 500 NASDAQ in full view on the right hand corner of the main web site Any plans for HSE Nikki trend charts commodities, metal and energy trends charts e.g soya, corn wheat, oat, oil and others? Thanks IKezque
Yes, we are working on
Yes, we are working on revamping the site into a complete new design. It would show a summary of the global market and major asset class trends. And the navigation will let user to driven down from sectors and industries as well as by small/mid/large caps. We are working day and night to make that happen. And there would be more exchanges added to the main page such as Shanghai, Hang Seng index, Nikki, FTSE, DAX, TSX...etc. And commodities stock will be categorized by major commodities as well. Please stay with us.

Q: BPI- Please help me
Q: BPI- Please help me understand the bars, all black but going up beautifully for quite a while. A: All blacks means the stock is hot and buying power keep putting on it. Black doesn't mean the top rather it signals a potential top or the trading power has not reached this level before., How far will it go, nobody knows. But myself would be very cautious on it and I will never buy when there is a black, I would have sold if I own shares of it.
Q: How to read MO
I am new to this site so I apologize for asking for an explanation this early but I am interested in the chart for MO (Altria). I am having difficulty following what the bars are indicating in the last few days. Can you please provide a little insight into what the bars have been indicating and what the pattern has been for MO? Thanks
Just to provide you a brief
Just to provide you a brief idea by looking at the charts. The weekly chart became red for 3 weeks but the price keep flattening, this translates to the stock is in consolidation phase. The daily chart shown black a week ago and now the trend level is decreasing that means the rally was over and now consolidating. As long as the price flats and the trend level goes lower, the stock is consolidating.
Q: GME looks very
Q: GME looks very interesting. Please help me understand bars.
A: Trend level increasing means move up momentum increasing, while the short term speculation is crowded (ST is black) and the length of MT green increasing translates into short term buyers triggered middle term buyers to join. You can see one or two week ago, the trend level was almost close to zero which is good to accumulate if you like the stock during quiet seasons.
My trading routine
Whenever your model is predicting up say yesterday(in US) - in the Broad market section.I will go long all the way.If it's predicting down. I would stay out until - your Trending predict a reversal. So far it's been good. I ve not been caught on a reversal.(Hope not!)I hope to be always with the Trend. The DJ effects what Asia trading as well. But I also follow another website for targets of DJ using Elliot wave. So roughly I have a target when to be out of the market(temporary). I trade individual stocks in Malaysia. Wishing you a prosperous trading and best of luck.Again thanks

Nice guess on DJ. If there
Nice guess on DJ. If there is any possible turning projected by the model, I will post it on the Broad Market Trend page. Currently, the trend is climbing slowly but is not as active as previous I have seen. Please let me know more about how the charts help you on trading the Hong Kong stocks since it is newly added to the collection. Also please let me know if there is any time lagging on the charts (supposed lag 15 mins) and counted in to the US time shifted one hour recently. Thanks you!

Please try again, I have
Please try again, I have moved the blocks to the left. I may move them back to the right later if I can find a permanent solution.
This is a design issue or
This is a design issue or this is hardware issue as well. I believe your monitor's resolution on width is lower than 1024? If I move the right hand panels to the left, this problem will be solved. I guess I need to do that since more people are having the same problem.
figuring out when to sell
The only hard part is figuring out when to sell This is true for any trader professional or rookie otherwise we'd all be rich. My two cents is know your time frame, combine at least minimal knowledge of TA and fundamentals. Decide if you are a day trader, swing trader or long term investor. Stick to your choice until you master that way of trading. I for example, know a bit candlestick reading, stick to what I know and keep to the type of trading that fits my personality best. This model is good for short term swing trading for a few days max imho.
I agree with your approach to
I agree with your approach to concentrate on one thing at a time. My saying is if you cannot success on one how you can success on many?
 I was not answering your
I was not answering your question because I had no answer on it. But today I have a thought: If you know when to buy then you should know when to sell. How? Ask yourself will you buy when you see a red bar or black bar or the trend level is decreasing? The way to determine when to sell is the day you tell yourself definitely not to buy. Hope this help.
